The Arab American and Chaldean Council (ACC), in partnership with Forgotten Harvest, is proud to announce its “Pantry of Plenty” food distribution program. Twice per month, the ACC distributes nearly 30,000 pounds of food to area residents in need. Items include fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, meat and juices.
Since December 2011 more than 3,000 families have enrolled in the program. Each family receives approximately 60 pounds of prepared and perishable foods per event. The food distribution is open to all in need with low or moderate income. ID is required.
The “Pantry of Plenty” program runs entirely on in-kind donations.
The ACC relies on the support of the community and corporate volunteers.
