Customer Appreciation Day to be Held
Detroit, MI
- December 13, 2007 The Arab American and Chaldean
Council's (ACC) Seven Mile Task Force and the Seven Mile Steering Committee
is hosting its 2nd Annual 7 Mile Customer Appreciation Day & Holiday
Celebration on Saturday, December 15, 2007 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at ACC's Youth Recreation & Leadership Center, 62 W. Seven Mile Road, Detroit,
48203. This community event will reach out to more than 1000 needy families
in the Seven Mile community to thank them for their participation and
support.
"This
2nd annual Celebration underlines the collaboration between ACC and the
residents and businesses in the Seven Mile area. In these tough economic
times, ACC is trying to fill a void to insure that no child is left without
Christmas. We thank all our donors who make it possible for us to
distribute groceries, clothes, household gifts, clothing and toys to
everyone in need," said Isa Hasan, Director of the Seven Mile
Project.
The
holiday themed appreciation day will offer community members and area
business owners an opportunity to come together and celebrate not only the
holidays but all that has been accomplished in this impoverished
neighborhood in Detroit.
The event will also include entertainment, games, food, refreshments,
discounted holiday shopping at area businesses, and pictures with Santa.
