DTE ENERGY FOUNDATION PROVIDES GRANT FOR ACC'S SEVEN MILE PROJECT

Detroit, MI - April 9, 2007 The DTE Energy Foundation awarded a $250,000 grant over five years to the Arab American and Chaldean Council (ACC). The grant provides support to complete ACC’s Community & Neighborhood Development Initiative: The Seven Mile Project.

ACC’s Community Development Project in the Seven Mile Corridor between Woodward Avenue and John R Road in the City of Detroit Community & Neighborhood Development Initiative: The Seven Mile Project (CNDI) was developed to address the pressing needs of the surrounding community, and will result in a safe, clean, healthy and more dynamic community. This project promises outstanding growth potential for our community, City of Detroit, and residents and businesses.
