DaimlerChrysler’s
5th Annual Diversity Week Celebration
Chrysler
Group celebrated "Diversity Week" the week of October
17th with a number of activities and events designed to celebrate
the unique talents of its employees and serve as an educational
forum about the importance of diversity in the workplace and community.
The weeklong celebration culminated with a marketplace expo on
October 21, 2005 at Chrysler's headquarters with over 30 community
organizations and companies participating featuring art, music,
and cultural displays.
For the fifth year ACC represented the Middle Eastern culture
by exhibiting artifacts, arts and crafts, contribution and invention
from the Arab World. Staff from ACC’s cultural Tapestry
program also discussed the history of Famous Arab American and
their contribution in the United States. ACC’s exhibit drew
the attention of expo visitors. Participants of the Diversity
Expo were able to familiarize, identify and experience themselves
with the unique culture and rich history of the Arab World through
ACC’s exclusive exhibits.
ACC’s Cultural Tapestry Program is available to corporation,
educational institutions, as well as public organization to bridge
the gap of understanding of the Middle Eastern Culture. For more
information and to schedule a presentation please contact Bob
Ghannam at 248-559-1990.
