Torino

Carlo Bongiovanni, Deputy Mayor of Torino, Italy was impressed by the work and services ACC provides to the Michigan community, particularly the work done in the Behavioral Health Department. Like the southeastern Michigan population Torino has a large Middle Eastern immigrant population. Mr. Bongiovanni was here on a fact finding mission. The Deputy Mayor wanted to meet with the ACC because of the work we have done in community revitalization projects and the diverse ethnic community we serve.

Torino, Italy is known as the automotive capital of Italy. Torino is presently diversifying its vocations and changing its appearance as it races to its deadline with the 20th Winter Olympic Games in 2006. Torino also hosts the Scared Shroud in the famous chapel designed by Guarini and the second most important Egyptian Museum in the world, outside of Cairo.
