Seven Mile Project Progress - A pictural view
Seven
Mile Spotlight Fall 2006
As
one of five Restore Detroit districts designated by the Mayor’s
Office of Neighborhood Commercial Revitalization (ONCR), the Seven
Mile Project has already accomplished much in its quest to provide
for a destination area of ethnic shopping and entertainment in
a clean and safe environment. This endeavor to transform a rundown
and dilapidated area into a thriving and vibrant neighborhood
community is a huge task. The ACC is fortunate to have such a
variety of influential friends and supporters who are lending
their time, expertise, and resources to the completion of this
endeavor.
The Seven Mile Project was developed
to address the pressing needs of the surrounding community with
an end result of a healthier and more dynamic community. This
project promises outstanding growth potential for our community,
the City of Detroit, and its residents and businesses.
